Introduction to the StudioTech video (lighting) series and a look/unboxing of the Flolight LED 500 series light.

We hope to have our new studio in around 3 months and would like to use LED lights if possible/practical/affordable! We purchased the Flolight MicroBeam LED 512 to allow us to experiment and see how it compares to the compact fluorescents we currently use!

Hi,

Thanks for the video. You didn’t seem very impressed by the performance of the product at first sight, what is your opinion now a few months later ?

    HI,

    hmmm, difficult question! Would I buy another – no. Does it work ok – yes. The colour balance is not around 5500, probably needs a gel to fix that. Am switching to mainly compact fluorescents for the studio.
